Mullein is a biennal plant that self sows if you allow the yellow flower heads to dry out on the plant.
Mullein promotes healing. A tea made from the furry leaves is used for a variety of ailments. From coughs, bronchitis, and the flu to nervous tension and insomnia.
I think Mulleins greatest gift to our current COVID-19 life may well be its ability to be used as a replacement for toilet paper. Those large soft leaves are a much better option than going 'fisty-cuffs' in aisle 3 at the local IGA.

Mullein loves a sunny spot and free draining soil.
